Our season begins
in June and runs for 17 weeks, usually through the first week
of October. During the season we have excellent action for
rainbow trout, northern pike, halibut, grayling, arctic char,
lake trout, and salmon.
June is the best
for catching rainbow on dry flies. July is one of the best
months of the season with three species of salmon available
headed by the immense sockeye run. Rainbow trout are caught
throughout the season with the largest fish usually found in
June, September, and October. It is not unusual for rainbows
to be ten pounds and 30 inches in length, with trophy rainbows
being larger.
